On Friday, May 31, UTEP established very important contacts.

At this valuable meeting, where our Foreign Trade Directorate came together with the Conservatives Friends of Small Business, the main agenda was to facilitate UTEP members’ access to foreign markets.

Among our guests were Conservative Party politician Sir Shaun Bailey; Julie Marson, British Conservative Party member and Member of Parliament for Hertford and Stortford since 2019; Member of Parliament Matthew Alexander Vickers; Member of Parliament Mark Logan; Şazimet Palta İmre, known for her work in the business world between England and Turkey; Afzal Akram, a politician affiliated with the Conservative Party; Türkan Akbaş, one of the leading figures in the UK-Turkish business community; and Mehmet Karakuş, a well-known leader within the UK-Turkish community.

This meeting, where many topics were discussed — from the health sector to construction, from education to unicorn investments — is just the beginning.
